This Varied Thrush came to the Alaska Raptor Center after a collision with a window, a common injury we see with small birds. He arrived with a fracture in his right coracoid, an important bone that helps power flight. After rest, careful bandaging, good food, and the right medication, this little Thrush made a full recovery. Now, he’s ready to return to the wild! Thank you to everyone who supports our mission.
