Volcano science experiments are always the most fun! These #AltoonaRails second graders have been learning about volcanoes in summer school. Students learned about shield volcanoes and composite volcanoes and their different sizes, shapes, and types of eruptions. Before making their class models erupt, the students identified each model's type, and predicted the kind of eruption they might expect: an oozing/flowing eruption or an explosive eruption. SO FUN!
